Relative clauses

Hey!

Can we say: "Hollywood is a place that is known around the world?" Or should we rather say "(...) which is known (...)"?

I'd say that both options are possible but I'm not sure.

Here are other sentences:

"Last year was the time when we went to Paris."
"Last year, which I spent at home, was very cold."
"Chocolate is a dessert that I like."
"Chocolate, which is delicious, is very popular."

I know these sentences sound a bit awkward, but I'm just wondering whether they are grammatically correct. Can you help me? :-)
