relative clause

"Shah Jehan who was a great king made Taj Mahel in India" "Sha Jehan was a great king who made Taj Mahel in India"- are both these correct? should I use commas here?

Top answer

Certainly in Britain we refer to the Taj Mahal, but otherwise all you need is the correct punctuation. You could also substitute 'built' for 'made'. Shah Jehan , who was a great king , made the Taj Mahal in India.

'Made' strikes me as unnatural. I'd use 'constructed' or 'built'.
