Relation between the words "foresee" and "anticipate"?

Are the words "foresee" and "anticipate" mean the same thing because i think they should? In what ways are the aforementioned words different from these words "forecast" and "prediction"?

And one more question (i gave it here because it's a small question):
Does "unmatched" also mean that "you cannot also reach that particular position as someone else" besides the meaning of "not equalling that particular position"?

"To anticipate" can mean "to forsee," but it can also mean to take preemptive action to deal with that which is forseen. "To predict" is to make a statement about something you think might happen. A "forcast" is a more scientifically based prediction of a whole set or range of data on a given subject for a given time period.
