Hi
Is the idiom rejoice in the name of common in American English? I assume it is mainly British and it means to have a funny or unusual name. Right? How do you find this sentence?
She rejoices in the name of Friday. (Her name is Friday)
Thanks,
Tom
Mr. Tom I assume it is mainly British It may have been a long time ago but, it seems unfamiliar and antiquated now.
