Just say something like: Thank you very much for your time and trouble in considering and accepting my application for your institution. After much consideration, I have decided to enroll at XYZ University, whose program I think will best serve my interests. I am very grateful for your having offered me the option of attending XYZ.

Thank you very much! But is it really required that I disclose the name of the university I'm attending?

regards.

It is not required, but you said that you would like to be polite. It represents an honest, forthright approach, and what harm will it do?
