Reinforcement/booster

Do these sentences make sense:

a) "I'm going to the doctor to treat some weak tendons in my pelvis; and I will take this chance to also ask for a reinforcement treatment for my ankle which I have already sprained twice."

b) "I'm going to the doctor to treat some weak tendons in my pelvis; and I will take this chance to also ask for a booster treatment for my ankle which I have already sprained twice."

In the event that both make sense, which one makes more sense?
