reimbursement of annual air ticket

Hello. Please assist me in constructing a letter requesting for a reimbursement of my annual air ticket. i am eligible for a yearly return ticket from my employer. However, my husband is entitled for yearly ticket with family from his own employer. His employer will never process a cash reimbursement and so do my employer but i do not intend on going for a separate vacation without my family just so my company can issue a ticket for me. I would need them to reimburse me with cash as per the offer letter I signed when I first joined the company. Please help me. Here it goes:

Dear Ms. XXX,

Please be informed that I will be going for my first annual leave to my home country with my husband and 2year old daughter on 8th December, 2013 to 12th January, 2014. An air ticket was issued for the same from my husband’s air ticket entitlement from his company. I would like to request for a reimbursement of my air fare as per my eligibility. I joined the company more than a year ago on February 14, 2012.
