Regretted about vs promised never ...

Can I say,

(a) The pupils regretted about / regretted their wrong-doings and promised that never to make / never making noise (again).

(b) They regretted of their wrong-doings and promised never be naughty.

(c) They regretted their wrong-doings and promised that never to be naughty (again).

(d) They promised never be naughty again.

(e) They regretted because of the wrong-doings (they did / made), they promised never to be naughty again.

(f) They promised to the headmaster not to be naughty again.
