Which is better?

ABC is registered on the list.
ABC is registered with the list.

I'd say the second sentence doesn't sound right to me. You don't get registered with a list, you can't. You get registered with someone/an institution etc.

My dictionary defines "register ~ with" is grammatical and works in the same way as "register ~ on".
