Regarding usage of have

Hi Please answer my questions I am confused with usage of have
Q1: I purchased a car 2years back I still have it.
a)Can I say I have purchased this car long back or I have purchased car ( with out mentioning that I have purchased it 2 years back)
b) what if I dont have that car can I still say I have purchased a car?

Q2: can I say I have purchased many cars from 2000 to 2010 (is that right usage of past perfect)

Q3: rakesh resigned in my office 1 year or 2 days back
if some one asks me this question after 1year or 2days , hey what happened to rakesh? can I answer like this he has resigned (instead of saying he had resigned 1 year ago.)

Q4: yesterday I saw a new ford car the model is very attractive or the model was very attractive
which of them is correct I am asking this question because my perception on model doesnt change

The general rule about the past tense and the perfect tense is that the past tense is used when an occurrance is completely in the past and cannot continue at the present time.
