Regarding To "Oversaturated"
This anime has been such a solid 9/10 its insane. But the occasional bumping with each other on the way home is getting oversaturated to me.
The context allows me to say that oversaturated means unnatural, contrived. Am I wrong? English Dictionaries just say oversaturated (Geological Science) (of igneous rocks) containing excess silica. Did the speaker use it figuratively?

I don't really understand this text. Maybe I would, if I could see the anime. I'm pretty sure that the word oversaturated is being used figuratively and/or idiomatically, unless the speaker is encountering igneous rocks on his way home, which seems unlikely to me.
