Regarding the use of article

Sentence: "Agree, the game was bit boring in the first half." or "Agree, the game was a bit boring in the first half."

My question: Is it necessary "grammatically" to use article "a" before the word bit or would it do without it ?

Regards and thanks

I agree/agreed rather than just agree. Grammatically , yes the article is required. You do hear people (often teenagers) say it without the article but it is far from accepted.

Yes.
Razeror would it do without it ?
No. There are quite a few combinations that mean "to a very small degree" that require "a" grammatically:

a bit [boring / annoying / dull / angry / moody / ...]

a little bit
a tiny bit
