Regarding the usage of verb

Sentence: "I'm thinking of buying the book "Tribal Leadership". Has/does anybody read it ?"

My question: Which verb, has or does, would be correct in the sentence ?

**My own feeling is verb "has" should come there. But I'm asking still because I often get confuse regarding the usage of verb "does" with "Is", "has" and present tense types. So, along with the answer of my question please also tell something about the usage of verb "does". So that my confusion get cleared forever.Emotion: smile

" They both work here, because "read" is simple present, simple past, and past participle. Unfortunately, we're missing the audio, so you don't catch the difference in pronounciation: read = reed (present) read = red (past, and past participle) exception: reads (reeds) - simple present, 3rd person singular "Does" is used in questions and negatives: Does she read well? She does not read well.

I meant to caution that "does" is used only for the 3rd person singular. The other singular "persons
