Regarding The Noun "Stuff"

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding the noun "stuff."

I know that we can count the number of uncountable nouns if we use a countable noun that works as a unit. I mean, we can say something like "a piece of / two pieces of your furniture," right? So, what about the noun "stuff"? Can we say something like "a piece of / two pieces of your stuff"? Or is it totally impossible to count the number regarding the uncountable noun "stuff"?

seagull . " 'Stuff' as you know is the uncountable form of 'thing'. It will need a counter and it is certainly possible if you need one 'Piece' may work if the actual stuff being counted is amenable.

  • It will need a counter and it is certainly possible if you need one 'Piece' may work if the actual stuff being counted is amenable.
  • I suspect that the counter selected will depend on what kind of 'stuff' it is.
