Regarding Past Tense words

Hi Friends,

I have a doubt in past tense words how to use, i am a begineer in english. i have to learn more from you. so please guide and teach me.

my question is,
1. i tried?
2. i was tried?

What is difference between this two sentense?

please reply me.
