Regarding "Looks Like Constructions"

I bumped into: I was about to say no progress yet again but it looks like it getting somewhere.


I'm not sure of if "looks like it getting somewhere" is grammatical.

I think the following would be right.

~looks like it is getting somewhere

~looks like it gets somewhere

~looks like it will get somewhere...

It should be "looks like it is getting somewhere".

Or "it is" can be "it's".
