Regarding 'for' and 'of' preposition

Sentence: "I am glad to know that you have added four new anti-virus participants in your test for/of the best anti-virus."

My question: Which preposition, for or of, would be correct in the sentence mentioned above ?

***My own sense is both would be correct but I'm getting confused by their meanings. That's why I'm seeking your help. So please answer this question along with the meaning that the preposition would make.

Thanks

"In addition, the word 'participant' suggests 'people who will be involved in the testing'. Is that what you mean, or do you mean that you have added four more anti-virus products to the list of products to be tested?"

Hi,

That says 'Independent tests of anti-virus software'.

It doesn't say 'Independent tests of best anti-virus software'.

The purpose of 'doing tests of software' is to find the best product. After you find the best software, you don't need to 'test the best software', because you aready know it's the best.

Hi,

If by 'participants', they mean the companies that sell the products, in my opinion it would be better to say something like '4 new participant vendors / companies'.

The word 'participant' also sugges the companies are actually doing something during the testing.
