Hi! this a question I have to do: I want to connect two sentences, the first one states a desire, and the second one states that the first one will happen only if some requirements are met. I am not sure about what connector shall I use (I'm thinking of "regarding" as a conector)
Here are the two sentences: We could start an academic relationship (only if) I am accepted by the University.
I wonder if I can do something like this: "We could start an academic relationship regarding my acceptance to the university"
Thanks for your help. jesse.
"May the force be with you"

As far as I know "regarding to" doesn't mean "if only", as you metioned. "
