Refuse my gifts

Hi

I was watching an English film in which a man (very angry) says to his son:

(shouting)

--and your always refuse my gifts.

I want to ask if refuse my gifts is natural English or the phrase was just there to show that a man was speaking/shouting uncontrollably.

Thanks,

Tom

I'd not use your last word. Angrily, as if he was confused or as if he was offended would be more accurate.
