Refusal

This is about when I'm not willing to join an online community that a friend recommends. Please check my paragraph.

That sounds fun. They don't seem to have something that I want more or should learn now, though. My native English speaking friends rarely point out my mistakes in English in a conversation, which doesn't mean that I blame them, but I already have them who I enjoy talking to. I hope you understand this.

Thank you.

Thank you, Mister Micawber.

- They don't seem to have anything that I want.
- I don't think that they have something that I want.
If the latter works and has a similar meaning to the former, which of those sounds weaker, please?

- I already have people I enjoy talking to.
Could you tell me why a ’who’ or ’that’ after the 'people' is dropped in this case?

The latter does not really work, but it is certainly weaker.

It is optional and less formal.
