Dear teachers,
Suppose you and your friend each bought a train ticket but want to ask for refund, which of the following is considered correct:

Can we get a refund?
Can we get refunds?

Hi, Suppose you and your friend each bought a train ticket but want to ask for refund, which of the following is considered correct: Can we get a refund? I'd say this, but I would also consider the plural way OK. Can we get refunds?
