Reflect

p.167 says

-The mirror walls reflect on my image an infinite number of times.

Are 'reflect on' and 'reflect' the same thing? Here 'reflect on' doesn't mean cogitation.

The "on" in "reflect on" could conceivably mean "onwards", i.e. referring to light rays being projected onwards by the mirror. However, the line does not read smoothly to me in this interpretation. I cannot see any other, though, assuming, as you say, that it cannot mean "cogitate" or "pon
