Letter Writing

Reference to a job offer

Dear You all,

I'm now writing a job application letter. I want to tell something like that :

Dear Mr. Peeters:

While I was looking at your web site, I have seen that you have an open position for a “blabalbalbalbal”. I think you could be interested in my candidature.

I'm sure you'll get the meaning. The two things I want to tell are : where I've spotted the offer and that I'm confident my application can be taken into consideration (while keeping a low profile, I don't want to sound assertive). Now, this sentence was translated almost directly from french where it sounds rather good (well, to my tasteEmotion: smile) and I feel it's a little awkward in english. Could you help me to polish it a bit ?

Thank you for your consideration.
