Reference or refer or referenced

Please tell me how to make a sentence using these words, have a look at my below examples.


Are you referring to me (are you talking about me)

With reference to an old story, I was able to explain the whole thing. (By talking about an old story I was able to make them understand the whole thing)

This quote are referenced in that book (quote are written in the book)
