Reference on LinkedIn - wording

Hi

I was asked by my former student for a reference. Here is what I have come up with. I wonder if this matches the context, sounds well-balanced is feels like good English (the more I learn the more doubts appear along the way )

As Mary's former English teacher, I am keen to give her a reference for her attitude towards challenges, clarity of thinking and academic potential.

Does it look like a wholesome reference? Isn't it too short? What else could I add?
Mary was undoubtedly, one of the very best students to work with I was lucky to work with in my 2 decades of teaching.

Thank you

Tom
