Hi, I don't quite understand these 2 sentences in the reference check sheet:

"Please tell us about their dedication, hours and flexibility?"

(This question is followed by a question about how long the reference has been working with the candidate. What am i supposed to answer here? Does it mean "how dedicated the candidate is to his current job" or does it mean "how many hours per day does the candidate spend working on his current job?")

"Would you recommend hiring or would you rehire them?"

I simply don't understand the "rehire them" part :-(

THEIR means HIS OR HER. It's used as a gender-neutral version of HIS or HER, since the form is used with male and female job applicants.
DEDICATION means how DEDICATED the person was to their work, i.e. how SERIOUSLY they took the job. Were they willing to work hard, with DEDICATION, putting a lot of IMPORTANCE on their work?
HOURS refers to how many hours per day (or per week) the person worked. Did he/she work a 40 hour week? Did he/she do overtime when you wanted? Or did he/she slack off and often go home early or arrive late for work?
FLEXIBILITY refers to how FLEXIBLE the person was in their job, i.e. were they willing to change their hours, or do extra tasks that weren't part of the job, or work the way you wanted him/her to work rather than insisting on working their own way (i.e. being INFLEXIBLE)?
The final question mark is a mistake, since the sentence is not a question; it's a request.

REHIRE means HIRE AGAIN. In other words, if you needed someone to work for you AGAIN, would you HIRE that same person AGAIN?
