This is the situation: I work in customer services, and if a customer asks me a question that has nothing to do with the organisation I work for, I find out which organisation deals with that matter and then ask the customer to contact it directly. Can I say "When I receive queries unrelated to our organisation,I refer customers to the relevant organisation?" Thanks

The way you described 'organization' and how you punctuated made the whole paragraph a bit confusing! I think you are mixed up with 'department' and 'organization'.

Thanks. No, I'm not mixed up - I work within the customer services department. Sometimes we get enquiries about products that our organisation doesn't supply, in which case I ask the customers to call the correct organisations.
