It isn't redundant, because (I assume) you want to accentuate that you buy pepperoni each and every time, not just now and then.

No. You might assume that, but it's not crystal clear.
That's why you have adverbs, to qualify/

Thanks. I'm glad you have confirmed my belief. I posted it on another forum and the traditionalists went bonkers. They insisted that the adverb was not necessary to the message.
