Reduction,decrease

Hi,

please check these sentences and tell me if they are correct or you think that there is a small difference in the meaning expressed by the 2 words.(reduction , decrease)

"We discounted 2000 € for the reduction of lights"
"We discounted 2000 € for the decrese of lights"

Actually I like more "We discounted 2000 € for reducing \ decreasing the lights" what do you think?

Thank you!!

Pamela

"We discounted 2000 € for the reduction of lights"
&
"We discounted 2000 € for decreasing the lights"

These both are true, i think.
bcuz reduction as a noun mean making sth less in amount.
and the word decrease have same meaning as a verb.

I'm not native, i just guess
