Reduce/reducing

I'm writing a report for uni, and I've made a sentence that strikes me as odd...
should it be 'reduce' or 'reducing', and 'destroy' or 'destroying' in this sentence. Its an extract from my report about supply chain management.

"These issues present challenges for all channel members as a failure to successfully manage them could result in damaging relationships and ultimately reducing the performance of or even destroying the channel"

Thanks in advance.
