Reduced Relative Clause

1. There is a big tree that/which is in the middle of the park.

2. There is a cat that/which is sleeping under the big tree.

3. There are three birds that/which are flying in the sky.

4. There are two girls that/who are playing tennis.

5. There is a boy that/who is sitting on the bench.

6. He is reading a book that/ which is written in English.
7. There is a gate that/which is made in the U.S.A.
8. There are a lot of flowers that/which are near the gate.
9. A man that/who is talking on his smartphone is walking into the park through the gate.
My answers 1. that 2 that 3. that 4 that or who 5 that or who
6. that 7. that 8 that 9. that or who
Are my answers correct? Why can't which be used for in 1 and 2 for example?

From a strictly grammatical viewpoint, all the sentences are correct since the relative pronouns that, which and who are all correct in defining / restrictive relative clauses. However, most of the sentences are rather awkward and I don't think many native speakers would say them in normal circumstances. CB
