Reduce the amount of rice

When I want to reduce the amount of rice by half or a third in a restaurant, how should I simply say? I might say like this.

#1 Half the rice, please.

#2 Two thirds (of) the rice, please.

?In this case, "of" should be added or nor?

Are these correct? What would you say?
