Red shot blue shot

Hi,

There is a guy who is after a couple. He has pointed them a gun and they ran. Now, he is tracking them and planning to shoot. And that is his conversation with himself, his thinking.

Ten feet, child's play. One shot, two shot, red shot, blue shot.

I couldn't get it. What does he mean by red shot blue shot? Is there an idiom like that?

Thanks in advance,

Dilan.

Oh I see.

Thank you and I thanked you in all my posts but since you almost answered every question of mine, I wanted to thank again for all of it.

It's almost certainly a reference to "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" by Dr. Seuss.

Thank you CSnyder, that has helped a lot. Now I can find a similar thing in my language.
