Recover

Hello,

Could I get your view on the following sentence, please:

Share prices on the Stock Exchange plunged sharply in the morning but RECOVERED slightly in the afternoon.

Is the word 'recover' the right one in this context instead of 'recuperate' or 'regain', for example?

Thank you for your answer!
