recommendation / suggestion / advice, what's the difference?

recommendation / suggestion / advice

Yes, I know all of them deliver the similar meaning but I could "feel " that they have some difference. Personally I could almost always pick the most suitable choice by "feeling"

However, this is the question raised by my kid but I don't know how to explain it to her.

Please advise. (Yes, I would not say Please recommend or Please suggest, but how to explain?)
