Please edit it:
'When computers were first brought in to Israeli schools part of the teachers were just recoiled because of it and another part were afraid either of the advanced technology or of the fact that computers might replace them'

because of it] seems awkward. Could it be replaced by a preposition? at?

How about this: "When computers were first brought in to Israeli schools some teachers just recoiled, and others were afraid either of the advanced technology or of the possibility that computers might replace them."

I think you can leave out "because of it." I prefer "some teachers" and "others" to "part of the teachers" and "another part." And being replaced by the computers is,

Yes, it is. But you need a noun after "of", otherwise you'll have to change all the structure of your sentence...
