Question:
Do I use recognition correctly?
If yes, should I use of or for?

Sentence1:
I got the Holo academic award last year. This is the recognition of / for my hard working.
Sentence2:
I got the Holo academic award last year. This is the recognition of / for my academic achievements.

("got" is not wrong, but it's more casual than the rest of the sentence.)
