Reciprocity

Is this a positive word? Could you give us an example of how to use it?

On the contrary, the singer was an AI who did not love merely because she was not capable of feeling that particular human emotion. The song is called "Android Rising", and it is the beautifully moving tale of a female AI who adopts a human female child, and is very successful as a parent. Her adopted child loves her.
