Can "reciprocates" be used to say that someone does something that someone else just did? For example: if Person A stands up and then Person B does the same before taking a step to the side, can it be said like this:
Person A stands up. Person B reciprocates and then takes a step to the right.
Or, as another example:
John moved a chess piece, and then Mark reciprocated.
