recipes mind map

Hello I want some answers because I'm making a recipes mind map
I want a word to describe mayo, katchap and mustard? is it dips? sauces?
and what do you call unnecessary things like french frise etc? also what do you call machines you use in cooking such as oven and the grilling machine?

Sauces is fine. A more formal word is "condiments", which in my mind means the sauces you would typically use for hamburgers and hot dogs. French fries could be called a "side/side dish".

I can't think of a catch-all term for things to cook with. Just the name: oven, grill, stove, etc.
