Receive/get

Hello,

(1) I received your message / I got your message

(2) I have received the message / I have got the message

Is it any difference between receive/get here?
And next, if I want to indicate that I have this message from him yet, let say, I have received it yesterday, is it OK (1).
I know about Present Participle grammar, but how about a real dialogue?

Thanks
