I am going to make up a sentence below.


(ex) Yesterday, I received a call from my company, suggesting that I go on a business trip next month.


Is it grammatically correct to use the continuous tense of "suggest" to modify the word "call"? Thanks a lot.

What is written is correct, but it is not the continuous tense. "suggesting" is a present participle. Where there is no aux
