- Are these natural to say?

To my North American ears "When do you get paid every month?" sounds natural. "When do you receive your salary every month?" doesn't work because salary is the fixed amount a person receives, usually the a yearly amount. "The salary is $45,000 per year." So if someone has a salary of $45,000 per year, he could "get paid" every 2 weeks or "get a paycheck" every two weeks.
