I'm sorry, but the examples in the posting immediately above just do NOT work. (Please contact me upon the received letter, Please contact me after the received letter, Please contact me upon the movie, etc.) These are all non-standard usage, at least in American English.

As said already, use either:

Please contact me upon receiving the letter.

or

Those 'upon' examples are not British useage either. If you change the word 'upon' for 'regarding' or 'about' and even in one or two cases 'on' then they are ok, but we don't use upon in this sense.
