Really need help.

I got confused by these :
The store was close.
The store was closed.
The store is closed.
The store is close.
I don't know which one is correct, and I don't know which one is correct to use when I tried to mention the store is closing for a period of time. (The time = past to future)

'Close' here sounds like it means 'nearby'. I don't think that's your intended meaning here.
'Closed' means 'not open'.

I got confused by these :

The store was close. No. See above
The store was closed. It was not open, at some time in the past
The store is closed. It is not

It is easy to confuse the active voice and passive voice.

1) The store was close.
You have confused the verb "close" with the adverb "close". It means near, and usually followed by "to" or "by."

The store was close (near) to my school, so I could go shopping on the way home.
Are we close to the store now?

What does was + present tense verb mean ? I got confused by that, and also is + past tense verb

The building was destroy.
The building is destroyed.

Does these two means the same or any errors ? Please clarify, and thanks for helping
