Realize your dream; realize meaning?

I "realized" my dream.

I heard it means I fulfilled/achieved my dream. (not that I understood that way in the first place)

But can I still use the same sentence in Line 1 in order to express like now I know what my dream is?

Thanks

Yes, if the context makes that clear, as in 'I have realized what my dream is!'

You can, but it creates a bit of confusion!

I really realized what my dream was after I realized it.
I didn't really realize what my dream was until after I had realized it.
