Can I write "realize its rights" in the passage below? Maybe I should use some other expression?

In such situations the debt enforcement proceedings, i.e. pursuance of claims by the repossessor need to be conducted. It consists in taking action by the parties, other participants and executive bodies (repossessor) in order to realize its rights in an enforced way.
