"Realize" a promise?

What is the most common way to say a promise is carried out?
Could you give me some alternatives to express the same idea without replacing the word promise?

It is ok to say "realize a promise?"

Thank you very much!!!

Yes, although if you're saying "you carried it out", past tense, then: "I realised my promise to (person's name or the action that was promised)" Common alternatives I can think of are: "I did as promised" "I fulfilled a/my promise to (person's name or the action that was promised)" "I fulfilled the promise I made to you"
