Realised / thought

As Geoff was introduced to mrs Snape, he realised that he had met her before.

Can I say he thought that he had met her before?, or should I say he thought that he might had met before.

Thanks

realiZed is the main version I prefer realized here, as it means suddenly t hought. These are OK: he realized that he had met her before he realized that he might have met HER before he realized that THEY might have met before

Hi,

As Geoff was introduced to mrs Snape, he realised that he had met her before. This states it as a fact. He did meet her before.

Can I say he thought that he had met her before?,

Thank you both of you Emotion: smile

It's really important to know the 'might have met' usage.
