reading with brackets?
I was wondering, when translating from one language to English, if there are brackets denoting added words, such as in the example below, is this common? Is it more correct? Also, will people still read it smoothly? Or will the addition of brackets make people upset?
And [the] Sabbath having come, He began to be teaching in the synagogue. And many hearing were astonished, saying, “Where [did] this One [get] these [things]? And what [is] the wisdom having been given to Him? And [how] are such miraculous works being done through His hands?
